Jared and I were working on our DLO We had to wright down our own equations then show how we worked it out. The strategy we used to work out  the equations was by splitting the numbers into their own place values to make the equation much easier e.g 10 + 10 = 20 + 100  + 2 ones = 122 hundred and ten plus twelve we would split it up ten plus ten equals twenty and there's only two ones and one one hundred answer one hundred and twenty two

Art hurumanu

At art hurumanu me and my group had to draw on a storyboard sketcher we had to write the characters and where the setting is we had to draw the characters and our setting that we chose on the storyboard sketcher our  characters were mr manakitanga and a homeless man and the setting was on the streets there was a homeless man on the streets then came along mr manakitanga and lended the homeless man some food and some money the homeless man was really happy and he said thank you to mr manakitanga. Mr manakitanga replied it's alright my name manakitanga means kind helpful nice friendly so I want to be kind and generous and help people.


 Our feed back we got was.

.positive the drawings were well done.

.thoughtful they have thought well about the photo.

.helpful have words at least.

Rainbow paper experiment

   
                                             Rainbow paper experiment

Materials:
1. Reusable plastic cup.
2. Strap of paper 7 cm long 2 cm wide.
3. Three different coloured felts.
4. Water.

Steps:

1.get a reusable plastic cup.
2.get a strap of paper at least seven cm long and two cm wide.
3.draw three dots on the strap of paper with three different colored felts.
4.put half of the strap in the cup put it on the side that has the three dots.
5.tip some water into the cup not to high just enough to reach the three colored dots.
6.take photos and right down the information on what happened and write the final results 

Conclusion 

unfortunately i don't have any photos but here is a photo of a rainbow skittle experiment.
