Population of Maori and European throughout 1836 - 1901

In the image displayed above it is showing a timeline of the propulation of Maori and European back from 1836 through to 1901. From around 1830 through to the 1840s, the Maori population had dominated the Europeans, but that would soon change after the occurance of the musket wars. The musket wars had greatly affected the Maori population after it had resulted in the deaths of an estimated 20,000 people. But, this was not the only reason the Europeans had outnumbered the Maori.
