I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

NZ Government compare and contrast paragraph
In the power to people Hurumanu, we learnt about the Maori authority system and the British settler Government system. This compare and contrast paragraph is about those two systems. People were responsible for their whanau. Tapu was important for protecting people, objects and land. Whereas law was organised to control society and to stop people from breaking the rules of society. They were set punishments for breaking the law. This matters because it is important to know how NZ was before the treaty and how different the Maoris were from the Europeans.

Investigating light.
What is the fastest way to travel through the universe.
What is light speed.
Define optical science.
What is fibre optics.
Name three objects that help us see very small objects or objects far away.
1: Search Result launched by NASA in 2006, it shot directly to a solar system escape velocity. This consisted of an Earth-relative launch of 16.26 kilometres a second (that's about 36,000 miles per hour), plus a velocity component from Earth's orbital motion (which is 30 km/s tangential to the orbital path)
2: 299 792 458 m / s
3: Optics is the branch of physics that studies the behaviour and properties of light, including its interactions with matter and the construction of instruments that use or detect it. Optics usually describes the behaviour of visible, ultraviolet, and infrared light.
4: An optical fibre is a flexible, transparent fibre made by drawing glass or plastic to a diameter slightly thicker than that of a human hair.
5: Telescope,microscope,magnify glass.
